Wii Firmware Downgrade POC Video

Waninkoko has created a POC Video to a Firmware downgrade..
Going from firmware 3.1E to 2.1E..
Could this lead to a Custom Firmware? Only time will tell

      you wont be able to load wii isos via the internal hdd as it only has 512 flash memory
