Waninkoko update: Custom IOS36 Rev 7 + MenuPatcher v1.0

Waninkoko hits us with two updates today. We have a new revision for the Vustom IOS36, and we have a new appliation in the form of the MenuPatcher.

The 7th revision of Custom IOS36 has a very short changelog:

[ CIOS36 rev 07 ]:

- DIP plugin updated (lots of improvements).

However, you might want to install upgrade to Rev 7, because MenuPatcher requires you to upgrade. While not a feature filled application, those of you who use Wii Backup Loading software will welcome this application:

- This application patches the System Menu in memory to run it under
  Custom IOS and allow backup loading through disc channel.

        Excuse me? Our policy is not to host any links to the backup loader out of respect for Waninkoko. If you see a link on our site, it was not intentionally placed there, and will be removed

          ok but now he is working with wiigator surely the new release (0.3 gamma) and future releases can be hosted…?

            He is not working with WiiGator. WiiGator is using the source for the Backup Loader that Waninkoko didnt finish.

            I will have more info in the coming days. Stay tuned

    This is an app, not a patch. This needs to be run every time you want to load a backup.

      I thought I made that clear:

      It’s in the article. It’s an application named MenuPatcher…

    ahhh i get it, you run the menupatcher and can run backups from the disc channel, my bad XD

    this is cool stuff, just tried it out on 3.2E works amazingly, but what is this DIP plugin with the new CIOS?

      The DIP module is what’s responsible for allowing backups of games to be loaded.

    I kept getting an error about the ticket on both MIOS r3 and CIOS 36 r7.

    ERROR! (ret -2011).

    What could have gone wrong? I also have Wasabi v3 installed, but I didn’t think that would have caused any issue.

    Anyway, I have seen some people getting the same issue, but no one seems to know what’s the cause.
