Lets get reeeady to ruuummmble! *Cha-ching* Michael Buffer just got paid. And F00 f00 might get paid next if you like this mod:
Despite the NDS supporting a rumble pack add-on, it only works for select games, and it also takes up space. This mod works for ALL games and occupies zero space.
Let me quote F00 f00:
I achieved this by using a micro-controller to read the analogue signal coming from the speakers/headphone socket. This then fires a motor, that has an off-set weight attachment, at increasing intensity in relation to the volume of the sound. Having tested this method I found that the rumble did match the game play well.
Tantric did a fix for serveral emulators – Snes9x GX 4.1.8 (a Super Nintendo emulator) ,FCE Ultra GX 3.1.6 & Visual Boy Advance GX 2.1.5. He fixed the auto-save bug that was annoying us.
SDL MAME Wii is an Arcade Emulator based on SDLMAME. Many games for early arcade boards can be played with varying amounts of success.
Issues
Lots of ROMs are supported, but not all of them. If you don’t see the ROM in the list in the emulator, then support for that ROM isn’t included. This is to keep the size of the emulator low enough to run effectively on the Wii. A list of all the ones that are can be found here: http://www.toadking.com/wiimame-0.4.txt
Just because a ROM is supported does not mean it will run. Even games for early boards like CPS-1 can fail to run due to RAM limitations. If the emulator suddenly kicks you out to the Homebrew Channel, look in the MAME folder (sd:/mame/) for a file called errors.txt. If it says something about failing to allocate space, then odds are the ROM can’t run on the Wii. The emulator might also crash outright and leave you with a code dump if RAM runs out.
Because the Wii is not a strong console, some games will be slow. Frameskipping is enabled by default to make games playable.
The joystick on GameCube controllers can’t be used.
The default controller mapping is unsuitable for lightgun games, but there is currently no way to make seperate mappings for lightgun and non-lightgun games. If you wish to change the configuration for lightgun games, replace the default.cfg file in mame/cfg with the default-lg.cfg file included.
On older TVs, the edges of the screen can be cut off. To fix this, in mame.ini, look for the option “safearea” and set the value to something around 0.8 and 0.95. It will vary depending on your TV.

Alien Puzzle Wii is a homemade puzzle game for the Nintendo Wii. The goal of the game is to get to the end of each level while collecting as many points as you can from the gems scattered throughout each level. The key trick to this game is the fact that once you start moving, you can’t stop (except for in certain cases which are talked about in the documentation). This requires precision as each level is scattered with TNT, which will explode on contact. Some of them move, some of them just sit there. Each level is unique, as is the rest of the game. Good thing you have three lives. And if you beat the level, you get to carry your score on with you to the next level. Thus, you can get amazingly high scores! You can play alone, or with a friend. Just be careful, if you collide with your friend, you both will bounce. And don’t worry, if you don’t want to play the actual game, you can always relax to some nice music via the built in mp3 player, which can be accessed by pressing the “home” button on the Wii controller. While you’re doing that, you could also make levels in your own paint editor, without even having to learn how to draw! (Described in the documentation) And with the online shop, you can download new levels for absolutely free.
Commodore 64 is a Commodore 64 emulator written by Christian Bauer (http://frodo.cebix.net). It was ported to the Wii by Simon Kagstrom, and many C64 games are fully playable on the Wii with it. So go ahead and beat your friends in International Karate, Boulder Dash or Bomb Jack. This version is not the same as Troy Davis implementation, but Troys work is available in a branch in the subversion tree.
The emulator works best in 480i mode. It runs perfectly fine in 576i mode as well, but does not utilize the full resolution.
Riivolution is an on-the-fly game patcher for use with retail discs. It allows users to place content on their SD or USB devices, which will be read by the game during regular play.
It can be used for custom textures, music, levels, memory patches, game translations, and more!
And as it says it can only be used on retail discs….. lol, I’m sure well see a patched version out soon to allow us to use it with backup games as well More info below and a video of it in action after that.
Install
To install Riivolution, extract the apps folder from the download onto an SD card and run Riivolution from the Homebrew Channel. Bannerbomb can also be used.
Once Riivolution is installed, you will need some patches to start playing with! Check out the Patch Templates to start, or read the FAQ.
FAQ
Q. Does Riivolution work with my “backups” or USB loaders?
A. No. And that’s not a bug.
Q. Does Riivolution work with my PAL/NTSC/JAP Wii/game?
A. Yes.
Q. What IOS does it need installed?
A. Riivolution requires an updated IOS37; if you’re on System Menu 4.2 you should be good. If it’s not installed or the proper version, it will be installed the first time Riivolution is run.
Alternatively, you can also use NUSD or DOP-IOS to install it – with all patches disabled.
Q. Does Riivolution work with Game X?
A. I probably haven’t played it, but yes, it should; try it. If it doesn’t work, report it – some games known to reload IOS will require specific patches to work.
Games that have specifically been tested include Fatal Frame 4, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Rock Band, among others.
Q. What does the “Install” button do?
A. It will install a Riivolution channel onto your System Menu for easy access. This can always be uninstalled.
Q. Can I use Ocarina / Gecko codes with it?
A. Normally, Riivolution just supports direct memory patches. However, Riivolution supports a patching method that can be used with the Gecko OS code handler.
Q. Can I add new files to a disc with Riivolution?
A. Not yet.
Q. Uhh, how do I use this?
A. As a user, you need to either download patch packages made by someone else or make your own.
A basic template and packages for common games can be found at the Patch Templates section. For a more detailed explanation about Riivolution’s patch XML files, check out the instructions.

Everything is ready to go all you have to do is copy the downloaded folder in your app folder so that the homebrew channel can recognize it.
