The .wad is region free. Works on PAL/NTSC/JAP

As Kevin said… I would really like a noob instruction of what we need and how we install Gecko OS how to make these workaround to work cause i am too stuck at 3.3e

Does anyone know how to install Gecko OS on your wii? Btw i have the new firmware 3.3 on my wii, a wiikey, and an U.S.A. region console. Hope that helps.

Solved..didn’t realise I needed to find a Pal version of the wad file

Problem… I installed the Gecko OS .wad using both the WAD installer channel and also the wad installer through the homebrew channel. Both times the new Gecko OS channel is installed but when I select and run it I get a ‘This channel can’t be used’ error.
The boot.elf works directly from the Homebrew channel and Gecko OS works perfectly from this but I would love to be able to run it directly as a channel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
