Wii Online Playable Games
I will be compiling a list of Wii games here which feature WFC connection (the ability to play friends over the internet).
Feel free to add any games that are not in this list and I will add them here, if you see a game in the wrong section let me know. Thanks guys and all the help is appreciated
UPDATE: Some games only allow online scoring and ranking so I added a section for those games.

so, mario kart is capable of running online. just not if its a backup. originals or backups that have the capability to run online are on here. then in this list, its really originals that actually work online. i can confirm that mario kart (an ntsc backup) does not work online. i know im blowing this out of proportion, but im sure some poor sap/noob is thinking that this list for all games (weather backup or original) to work online. i think that we should have 2 different lists. though, if the backup loader/or custom ios is updated then online play may not be an issue. just for kicks, with the backup loader and my original mario kart disc actually works. so the problem must be in the ios. only time will tell. a great list anyway, im pretty new to the wii scene and now i know what can go online.

All the games on this list will work online be it an Original or a Backup as long as you have mod chip installed, as far as I am aware no game works online if you are using the (over rated) iso loader
Mod chip - originlas and backups work fine online
isoloader - backups will not work online

yes, a chip is a must for loading backups. i told myself i wasnt going to chip my wii. so i think ill try before i buy.
