How to run Trucha signed games on firmware 3.3
With the new firmware 3.3 released recently, it stopped the original twilight hack (fixed now with Twilight Hack v0.1beta1). It also stopped all trucha signed games from running on the DVD/Game Channel..
Trucha Signed games are games that are customized and resigned. A good example would be Guitar Hero 3 with custom songs.
However, there is a workaround for the trucha signed games...
If you use GeckoOS or Gecko Region Free, it will bypass all that and will run all your trucha signed games.
GeckoOS and Gecko Region Free can be ran using the Homebrew Channel
GeckoOS can also be installed as a channel and set next to your DVD/Game Channel.
Install the WAD via WAD manager or any other WAD installer. Install the Homebrew Channel method by copying the Apps folder to the root of your SD Card.
All you need to do is run the channel/application and youre set.
One of our members here have stated that GeckoOS under the homebrew channel will NOT save the career mode for Customized Guitar Hero 3, however, when he ran GeckoOS as a channel, it saved fine.

trucha is modified games like Guitar hero with custom songs, manhunt 2 uncensored, etc

so would i need a chipped wii to this? all i have is the homebrew channel. oh.....and, manhunt2 uncensored is sick (in the good sence).
