This guide will be for people who have just bought or looking into features of the M3 DS Real

SO IM PLANNING ON GETTING ONE...
If your are getting one then you will also need a MicroSD/HC card.
The M3 DS Real support MicroSDHC cards (any card over 2GB).

Aim to get a kingston japan class 4/6 or a a-data class 6. Avoid sandisk and other cards as well.

Do not under any circumstances buy the cards from the flash cart seller, they are usually fake or are 3-4 times they price they should be.


RECEIVED MY M3 DS REAL AND MICROSDHC CARD, WHAT NOW?
First unbox the M3 Real
it should look like this



Take notice that the MicroSDHC card reader is now different then the version shown and also the CD is no longer included.

For right now, take the GBA expansion pak and insert it into the the GBA slot on your DS Lite.
Now put aside the rumble pak and the actualy M3 Real cart.

Take the MicroSDHC card reader and also unbox the MicroSDHC card.


HOW TO INSTALL THE SOFTWARE AND ROMS ON THE CARD?
Remove the MicroSD card from the case and insert it into the card card reader.



Insert the card into the computer and let the computer install the driver for it.
Now you select explore this device \ect... and a blank screen will come up

First create a folder named "NDS" and a folder called "GBA" on the card both without quotes.

You will now need to download the latest firmware

unpack the file and you should see a folder called SYSTEM
right click it and hit copy
and then paste it into the card window
after it copied, you now installed the card firmware

Now I will not go into where to get roms which include DS and GBA roms
get them on your own but do not ask questions on where to obtain them, use google and find them your self

To copy DS games to the card
obtain the said DS rom and copy the .nds file into the NDS folder on the card, do this for as many roms as your want

the GBA works the same way except copy the .gba file to the GBA folder

HOW DO I USE START IT?
Now after you copied the roms over and everything
Right click safely removal hardware on your desktop and hit the drive letter on your card,
then remove the whole reader from the USB port and then remove the card (removing the card first may cause corruptions)

Now with the card in your hand remove the M3 DS Real from the plastic case and flip it over to where the hole is for the card to be inserted



Insert the card face up (the writing side facing away from the cart) and insert it and push down to click it in.
Now insert the cart into the DS and turn it on, if everything goes as planed then this screen should come up
it will skip the press the screen to continue also



the first option will take you too the current ds games on the cart
the second to gba games on the cart
third is a file explorer
fourth is for cart booting for just playing a gba game with a an actual game cart
fifth is a media player
sixth is a built in PDA
and seventh is cart options



HOW DO I PLAY NDS AND GBA GAMES?
now to test a game click the NDS icon



it should look like this
with different icons for every NDS game
click the game you want and this screen will come up



now everything should be set to default Off
you can turn on soft rest and select L+R + 4 buttons to enable it
you can also enable cheats (click the second tab to go into cheats and enable them)



there is also slow motion to slow games up in certain area's

now with the desired options set, hit start and the game should start
your game should start as shown as if it was a normal DS game



now after thats down you can turn off the ds off and then on or test the soft reset if you want
once back in the menu, now to test a GBA game
so go in the gba icon and select your desired game and hit start (all games here will have the same generic icon)
and enable RTS (real time save / some game will not work with this option) and start
it will take a little while but it will boot and look like this



if you enabled RTS, hold L+R + A+B
and a RTS menu will come up with options to SAVE / LOAD / RESET the rom
