NES-Hacks: Your home for Wii and DS Hacking!

These are the rules for the Nes-Hacks forums. Breaking of these rules will result in a warning and/or ban from the forum. It is up to the moderator/administrator to decide the punishment, depending on the severity of the crime.

ISO/ROM/VC/WADS Rules
ISO, ROMs, VCs, and WAD talk IS allowed on this forum, however, piracy is not. Do not ask for help on pirating games, do not post links to piracy sites, and do not ask for where to pirate from.
This is a big and easy rule. Don't break it!

Common-key.bin, Key.bin
DO NOT ask for these files PERIOD! Dont ask how or where to get it. This is a first and last warning regarding it. You will get banned.

Backing up a Backup
This will NOT be allowed to discuss here... use your common sense, If the game is already decrypted... it is not encrypted on a backup... That is all..

Sig Rules
You are allowed one (1) image in your signature, and this image may only be up to 450x150 in dimensions. The max size is also 400kb. Remember that there ARE dial-up and slow broadband users on this forum.
Are you a dial-up user? Click on the Profile link at the top of the forum, choose Display on the size, and check the following boxes: Show Smilies as graphic icons, Show user avatars in posts, Show images in posts, Show images in user signatures. Your browsing will speed up a lot!
Lately, people have been abusing the [youtube] tag in sigs. This is NOT allowed, and you will be warned/banned without notice. DON'T DO IT!

Post Rules
Your posts must have REAL content. Just quoting yourself is not allowed, unless it is appropriate. Just posting words such as "owned!" or "lol" will result in a warning. Also try to keep the language/adult content to a minimum. There are users under the age of 13 on this forum, keep it appropriate. And any racial slurs will result with an immediate ban.

Rumor control
There have been many fake videos floating around the net. These were made by people that either have too much time on their hands or just generally suck at life.
While it is allowed to think what you will, posting links to such videos, claiming you have done something you haven't, or trying to convince others that these obviously fake videos are real will result in a ban.
Remember that every time a fake video is released, it just kills the Nintendo scene even more. Stop doing it!

Links to Torrent/Download sites or any other links to which may lead to pirated/illegal software will result on a warning or ban depending on the infraction.

These rules are just an outline. You may be banned/warned for a rule that does not exist here. Use your common sense!
