Alright.. i bought this thing on from Best Buy over the weekend because i was sick and tired of connecting the wire to the Wiimote. I even didnt like the idea of the Nyco adapter that plugs the wiimote below the classic controller. So i went out a bought this. I tested this out on a couple of Virtual Console games and they seem to work great. I saw a problem when i played Mario Kart 64, pressed Home and couldnt do anything. I did some research and it seems like this remote had a problem with the first batch of VC releases. I proceeded to test Sonic and Super Mario Bros. They work perfectly. Next thing i tested were the Emulators from the Homebrew Channel and the Homebrew Channel itself.. i didnt detect anything and i couldnt get out unless i pushed the power button. Its a great controller and an 95% clone of the original Classic Controller for the Wii (wireless of course). It even have the Grip on the back which makes it better. But without Homebrew compatibility.. its going back to the store...
Pros:
Exact clone of the Classic Controller
Wireless
Handle Grip
Control the System Menu via Analog
Cons:
Homebrew Compatibility
Home button problem with first batch(es) of Virtual Games
My advice would be.. not to get this unless you play VC games alot.
