new wii update from game?

hi i got nfs undercover today for wii (pal) but when i put it in it says need to update... now what update does it have? how do i find out and is it safe to update? i still want homebrew!

i have pal game and pal wii so i know that part is safe i also have newest firmware on d2pro which i was led to bleive BLOCKS updates?

you have to enable the option i believe to disable updates from games with the latest utilitie disc.

Wii NTSC - 3.3U - WiiKey V1 1.9S - 62 games/9 multidisc GC/24 GC Games
DS Lite - DSTT - 57 games

ok then i rememberd that after i only set it to forign updates to block so i will block all updates although it says system update needed on the disc channel box on main menu

ok blocked all updates using the d2pro disc but then wii freezes upon game boot... how can i tell what update it has? will it work if i remove update? im guessin i have to update to play the game?

ok did the update coz wanted to play it so bad!

still says im on 3.3E so must be 3.3 rev 2

also said any unofficial mods may cause problems or something... meh all still seems to be working fine

what was the game?

and the "unofficial mods may cause problems " will always be displayed when you update, its just a warning message they have.

the 3.3rev 2 update wont hinder modchips only homebrew.

it was the the new need for speed undercover game and it has the october update on it but i have lost NO homebrew all still works fine thankfully coz need it to release V4 lol
