So, I have the latest 3.3u firmware with an unmodded wii And the wii has never been patched before so I cant just install wads. So far, I have installed homebrew channel successfully. but after that i install installing cios 36 rev 3 with the ios in the root, and i get a -2011 error. Then i tried getting to rev 6 and it fakesigns it and patches but it doesnt install the cios, i get the -2011 error. I also tried using the patch mii cios clone and get the same result. once i downgrade it im good to go. PLEASE HELP!

try using the WAD Installer to install the cios, some people say using that will work.

Thanks Krazywhiteguy but i tried that and didnt work. Anyways i got it working by installing a different cios in the wad manager. I installed IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad in the wad manager then i ran a cios fix found in this tutorial http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=112945 then i downgraded the ios with ios downgrader 1.0, then after that i downgraded the cios to 3.2 U with cios downgrader 1.1. Then i installed ios5 and wii shop channel fix. Then I was able to install homebrew with no modchip!!!! all it took was a lot of googling!Thanks!
