I backed up wii music and burned it to a DVD-R with imgburn @ 4x. I put it in my wii and the wii can recognize it but it says i have to update my wii 1st in order to play the game.

So i press accept to allow the update to run. But after 4 seconds it will say the wii update has failed. And the wii will reboot

us the safe updater found here http://muzer.hbcapps.com/updater.tar.gz to update your wii and then you can play it without problems. I also really like Wii Music so I hope you do to.

Just make sure you take all accesories out of the wii before you install (GCN Memory Cards, USB Devices, ect.)

did you download it in the internet (the IOS may be removed so you cannot update that)
