So im following this tutorial:http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/708290
and im having trouble running the wad manager and executing CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad. I get an error that says "error! ret = -2011"
I've read up that i have to delete the file either using cIOS Uninstaller or AnyTitleDeleter. In cIOS uninstaller it said there was nothing to uninstall and in AnyTitleDeleter, i was a bit confused but should not find anything like "IOS"
I am completely stumped right now. How can i get wad managet to execute CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad??
Please help and thanks

It lets you use the store and the ios51
without modding all the ios's
to where they hack been locked down
just when you add the ios 51 make sure you use the modded hash check

How fast are you burning them? You should only burn them at 2 - 4x speed anything more and it won't read. Also what type of media are you burning to? DVD-R's work best for the backup loaders.

2 - 4x I burn all my games at 8x and never had any problems., a few things to remember when burning....
1. Never use any programs that use a lot of the processors power (ie. don't extract .rar or zip files or play games.)
2. Don't use cheap media, try sticking to the recommended brands, you'll find this info here >>> http://www.nes-hacks.com/forums/t715-Me … ackup.html
3. How old is your DVD burner? could be time to buy a new one, you can pick up dual layer dvd writers quite cheap now-a-days.

Personaly since im using this atm
Works well with
Memorex DVD+R
and use imgburn at 2x speed
works everytime for me and all my
friends who live close to me
Also see if you update your dvd burner firmware
that could also be a proble, as well
if not like WNB said it may be time for a new burner
Offline
well i burned it 4x on a dvd-r. i doubt that its my burner i burn 5 dvds weekly and they work fine
Offline
Make sure you verify
the logic units on your burned games
when you use image burn set verify to on
If any other trouble
I can try to assist farther
But it is beter to use a 2x speed

not sure what im gunna do about the games but i have another question. say nintendo releases a new update and i wanted to. would i have to uninstall dvdx and the custom ios and i would be fine to update?
Offline
Atm the newest update locks the wii down
with whatever you already have on it
as for updates tho
You should usaully what for a safe updater
Offline
well i was at the newest update and downgraded my wii so i don't think theres much to worry about. will i have to wait for a safe updater or is there another way?
Offline
the safe updater is out for the newest already
soo you should be fine
