I'm sure many of you lot know a guy from the scenes linkinworm, Hes always been trustworthy and hasn't done anything false so far, anyway take a look at his video.. Apparently he's made a Backup Iso loader, Im presuming its an elf that you boot, which does on the fly patching to the DVD RAM or something, well anyway it looks pretty darn awesome, as for a release maybe not yet.. he claims it needs tweaking..

So what do you think? Will it be real.. or fake?

He has been releasing homebrew before, why would he lie now?

Also, he has said do not burn any backups yet, you will waste cd's, you will need to patch the Backups ISO using a special tool they've made before it can be launched through the backup loader.

EDIT: I just read linkinworms post on the first source, he says Waninkoko made it and he was all like kinda shy and stuff (dont as me why so waninkoko told him to say that he released it, but now waninkoko said to linkinworm its okay to say that waninkoko made it...

So basically, Waninkoko made the backup loader and Linkinworm was his beta tester o: I wanted to confirm this, so ive sent a email to waninkoko to ask if this is true. I'll edit when he replies.

Anything can be faked. I was thinking of posting this to the front page yesterday, but it seems extremely unlikely some guy out of nowehere comes up with an ISO loader. The fact that he refuses to release it or even inform us of the exploit he used is just more suspicious.

I just sat and watched the video for this and I thought "what a load of crap"

1: There is a disc in the Wii the whole time, I can load backups from disc as well, it's called a D2Pro9 modchip.
2: Why use Wii Chess? Probable one of the smallest games out on the Wii.
3: An ISO loader runs ISO files form a HDD not disk!!!! WTF

Hmm even I have my doubts myself, I've sent Waninkoko an email earlier on, I'll edit on what he says.. I hope he says its true.

Even if he says it's true, I wouldn't believe him until a release. All of the Wii devs have been hiding something from us

reading the whole thread, this looks to be very promising... they are saying a release date of 2 weeks... multigame disc has been stated...

please remember everyone that this is all speculations until proven true

Well tbh, In my opinion if Waninkoko confirms it, then I will believe its true, i mean waninkoko makes cios and wad managers and some stuff related to piracy. but thats just me

EDIT: Checked my hotmail and waninkoko replied with yes.. I am soo happy =] but then again you have to be willing to trust me to say that he did say yes lolz.. if screenys are needed.. just ask but then again screenys can easily be edited so yeah no point asking if u might be suspicious of me editing lol.

this could just all be a work in progress sneak peek and they are just showing you the basics so far and will announce it or show it off once it looks better.

but the video looks promising but i may be wrong.

im not worried about an ISO Loader because i have a modchip but if they come out with a USB ISO Loader then we got something.

from what i read on GBAtemp. Waninkoko confirmed that Multi-disc games will NOT work on Unmodded Wii's... like i stated from the beginning, modded wii's will ALWAYS have an advantage

How would we have multi game anyway? I mean the iso's are 4gb, unless you use a dual layer i guess

Wii games are dummied.. just like Gamecube games. some games, for example, WiiChess... is actually only 24-32mb. But it is dummied to 4.4gb so the Wii can accept it. Most Wii games are about 1.5gb to 3.5gb. With the exception of SSBB which is about 6gb... Multidisc games is where WiiScrubber plays a big part
