Sorry to bump this up again ;D
but i think the iso method is MUCH easier if some1 got a modchip he does not have to go thorugh the whole story with twighlight hack..

Could you add the easy version with burning the iso and installing it?
Note: Only works with modchips wich allow backups to be played...
because the twighlight hack stuff is much too complex as i see at your long post..
i would do it like
WITH MODCHIP:
Download iso from... Extract.. extract the one u extracted again.. There should be a Installer.iso (or something)
Burn this with ImgBurn or another prog of your choice..
Insert in your Wii.. run.. and do what the onscreen text says to continue...
remember no guarantee that it works or that your wii takes no damage bla bla..
WITHOUT MODCHIP:
(what you wrote)

Do any of the emulators support 2 Players? If so, which ones?
Thanks A Lot.

most emulators have 2 player support with the exception of VBA and MAME and maybe a few others. but the main ones should have 2 player support

Why would you use a burned Twighlight Princess for HBC? ;(
If you have a modchip able to play backups just download the ISO and install HBC thorugh that...
fooX wrote:
You will need:
- Wii capable of playing Backups (Modchip like WiiKey, D2Pro etc..)
- a DVD-R (Verbatims work fine)
- the Installer.iso from the Homebrew channel (Step 1)
- a brain (would be an advantage)
- SD card (for the applications)
Step 1:
First off download the "the_homebrew_channel-beta_8-iso-*REGION*.tar.gz" for your region from hbc.hackmii.com
Step 2:
Extract the "the_homebrew_channel-beta_8-iso-*REGION*.tar.gz" with Winrar or 7z. This will get you the Installer.iso and a folder. Ignore the folder (the folder is for pushing applications from your PC on the Wii)
Step 3:
burn the Installer.iso with Imgburn or a program of your choice
Step 4:
Insert the finished disc into your wii and start the Disc like a game.
Step 5:
Follow the on screen text. Your finished when the text says you should restart you wii.
Step 6: After the restart you see the Homebrew channel like the other channels.
Now you just need the Applications from for example wiibrew.com
-------------
Of course you can remove the channel like any other through "data management".

Hello, need some help here, i done everything for trying to installing the homebrew channel but my Wii still doesn't read it.
The problem is i recently updated my firmware to 3.3, because of fatal frame, and yes my Wii is a mod set. And because of that i can't play many games. I burned the homebrew channel .iso to a DVD-R, and insert it into my Wii but it pops out a error message,
"An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off fand refer to the Wii Operations Manual for help troubleshooting."
This error message happened to my games too. So if without this homebrew channel i am unable to downgrade the firmware, which downgrading of the Wii firmware requires a homebrew channel. Anyone can help me please, feeling quite desperate here. T_T
Edit: Nvm, i found out that i need the Twilight Princess game to get it working. >_>

Hmm... might have to do 2 seperate archives. I'll get to it, hopefully by next-week at the latest. Need to compile the files and rewrite a bit of the tutorial... maybe add pictures ![]()

Updated with new files, and new instructions pertaining to those with 3.3 and 3.4 firmware. If you are trying to install the Homebrew Channel on 3.4, please read Step 1 of the tutorial carefully!
