The classic controller

After buying my new classic controller the first thing I done after taking it out of the box was inspect it and I noticed that on the back there is two slots with spring clips (anybody with a classic controller will know what I'm talking about) Does anybody know what these are for?

Re: The classic controller

I prefer to stick the wii mote on couch next to me, this looks bulky and akward.

Re: The classic controller

If the Classic Controller was completly wireless and independant of the Wiimote, I would consider purchasing one. I'm fine with Wiimote for NES and GC Controller for everything else

Re: The classic controller

The only thing annoying about this controller is the fact that the wire comes out the bottom, I keep picking it up the wrong way and then try to use it upside down hmm

Re: The classic controller

A vibration thing like the 64 would be cool to plug into that

Re: The classic controller

LOL! From an ergonmics perspective, that would only be useful if the system itself was sitting behind oyou. Unless Nintendo meant for you to connect the Wiimote to the Cloassic Controller, which would make sense why the chord comes from the bottom/

Re: The classic controller

The classic controller does connect to the wiimote but the wire should still come out the top.

Re: The classic controller

yes, it is NOT a nunchuck. the cord has always been at the top. just look at the atari2600 controller (ok the atari's paddle had the cord at the bottom, but that made sense.

)
