Yes, it does not matter whether its a DS or a DS Lite.

What does Slot 1 and Slot 2 Devices mean?
Slot 1 uses the card that fits where the DS card should be. Alternately, Slot 2 uses a card where the GBA cart should be

What is a PassMe and what is FlashMe?
PassMe was used previously for Slot 2 Devices to bypass checks for validation. PassMe has dropped off the scene since Slot 1 carts have arrived with built-in PassMe.
FlashMe was used previously to flash the firmware directly to the DS Hardware. This tool was only used for the original DS and after FlashMe was installed, there was no need for PassMe.

What does SDHC mean?

SDHC (Secure Digital High-Capacity) cards are flash memory cards with a minimum capacity of 4GB (gigabytes). SDHC cards provide removable memory for compatible digital devices including cameras, camcorders, PDAs, MP3 players and more. Secure Digital refers to a specific format within the flash card market. SDHC cards are designed for devices that are compatible with the SDHC 2.00 specification. Products designed exclusively to support previous SD specifications 1.0 and 1.1 will not be able to utilize SDHC cards.

Can i play GBA roms on a Slot-1 Device?
There is no Flash Cart that will play GBA roms directly from the Slot-1 Device. Many Flash carts (Example: M3DS Real, CycloDS Evo) allow you to play GBA roms if you have a GBA expansion pack.
