I'm getting this error:
Proprietary drivers are being used to make this computer work properly.
Proprietary drivers do not have public source code that ubuntu developers are free to modify. They represent a risk to you because they are only available on the types of computer chosen by the manufacturer, and security updates to them depend solely on the responsiveness of the manufacturer. Ubuntu cannot fix or improve these drivers.
I have nvidia geforce 6150 SE

Install nvidia drivers with Envy-NG.
Compiz is the default window manager now (Beryl has been integrated in).
For Emerald: http://openswitch.org/2008/04/28/how-to … heron-804/

I have no clue on how to install the Envy-NG, That's one of the things I was trying to figure out yesterday.
I also tried the thing foe emerald yesterday and no luck. I didn't know how to set the themes with the theme manager. And also can my graphics card even support emerald and compiz stuff?

You have to enable the universe repository to install envy-ng. Instructions (with screenshots) are here:
http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-enable … hardy.html
after that, just: sudo apt-get install envyng-gtk

Whats POS? I uninstalled it for now, I'll reinstall it again if it could work. I don't know, it feels like my computer runs faster on Vista then Ubuntu.
Ubuntu runs choppy for me even on the lowest setting lol. I have a 19 inch monitor so I doubt that it's the resolution. Also how do u apply the emerald theme?
