Yes, the cash cow of Nintendo, the Wii. So far it has been going casual to appeal to a broader audience. Don't get me wrong, it's good, however not good for the Hardcore base. Reggie said he was going to surprise the hardcore fans at E3. What do you think it will be, Kid Icarus (yeah, because a 20 year old character who hasn't been seen since the Nintendo Entertainment System is what hardcore fans want lol. ) or will it be Zelda? Animal Crossing will also becoming out as a "communication game". Does this mean it is going to have good online system! ( I hope so!) Honestly I don't think the Wii is going to appeal to the hardcore, but I could be wrong. The Wii is just printing money and there is no point in investing something that won't sell. (Boom Blox) Like I said before I could be wrong, like how Super Smash Bros. Brawl was great. I didn't like the online though. Another thing the Wii needs is third party support! That is KEY to drag in hardcore gamers to Wii territory. So far developers can't crack the hardcore code for the Wii. Third Parties are just making carnival games, or music games that are doing good.

What I want out of the Wii this E3

-A Better Online System (PLEASE GIVE ANIMAL CROSSING JUSTICE!)
-A Good First Party Surprise
-Good 3rd Party support (NOT JUST A PS2 PORT-- a game for the Wii Designed for the Wii)
*Use The Balance Board for like Resident evil? Think about!
-Hardcore games - The Conduit might be one.
-New Peripheral? (I don't care if this happens, but it is possible Nintendo shocked us with the Wii Balance board before and opened a whole new world for the Wii

What do you want? What do you think will happen? What do you think the possible peripheral might be?

DK's already released a game on the Wii. Barrel Blast was an embarrassment for the DK series. If you meant a new DKC series, i wouldnt mind it.

Does anyone here think that Nintendo might announce the Wii 2? Which will be DVD/Blu-Ray compliant in the next 2-3 years?

if you think about, it has been 2 years since the Wii was released. It should be about time that they announce something regarding the next generation to keep up with the PS3 and Xbox360. They cant stay on 480p forever. Perhaps an announcement on a newer model wii with HDMI output and newer games in High Definition

it will be too soon for them to release another console because then it will make there customers feel like they have been cheated out. also, it would show that nintendo is not confident enough with there current system.

Anyways, here's something I would like to see from Nintendo: A new firmware. How will this be different? You will pay for it through the Wii SHop Channel.

It will support a bunch of things, such as DVD Playback, 1080i (I don't know if this is hardware possible), better bluetooth headset support... and a bunch of other things. Well, I don't know what I would want, but those would be up there.
