i would've updated it if i needed to download demos. Stupid system wont allow you to download anything without updating

They pulled 2.4 because it bricked consoles.

look at it this way, hackers can use 2.4 mess up as a hole to use.

PS3 FW 2.41 out now, fixes all the problems of FW 2.40.
