Hello
Can someone please confirm for me that on the latest Wii 4.3 firmware that the Homebrew Channel cannot be installed? I have done a lot of research and spoken to other people who have said it is not possible, and if it were then it would brick your Wii.
To be honest, I'm rather confused now. Has anyone installed the Homebrew Channel on 4.3 successfully? If so, what files did you use in order to achieve this? Is there a guide somewhere?
Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to nes-hacks, it's always good to see a new face ![]()
As far as I am aware 4.3 hasn't yet appeared so I am going to presume you mean 4.2, so the answer your question is YES! You will need to download two seperate tools and have a SD card ready. Grab the two links below, there is instructions packed with HackMii installer read them a few times before you start the procedure, feel free to ask if you are unsure

Just to let you know that I now have the Homebrew Channel back on my Wii. Yay - Cheers for that!
Curious, but when I went to the menu screen within the HBC it said in the top left hand corner "Network not initialised". What does this mean? I know my Wii works on the net as this is how I do my updates. Do I need to do anymore configuration?

You can configure your PC and HBC so you can send stuff from your PC straight to the Wii, which is ok if your PC sites right next to the PC but really not worth while unless your a dev
