New to Hacking DS
Just bought some Ds's and was wondering how to hack them. How its done, How it works, how they run. What the Risks are.
Any Info would be great!

DS games are run by Flash carts, they are an exact replica of a original DS game. You are allowed to run them from an SD that you insert into the cartridge. Roms are as large as 2mb to 150mb each. There are no risks as they dont touch the system files on the DS Hardware

So there is no Flashing (like a PSP) or anything involved
What are these Flash Carts called (ive looked on a local buy sell site and ive seen 2 diff ones)

Depending on the price you want to buy. If you have a DS lite, all flash carts will work. If you have a DSi, you will need to get ones that states for DSi.
DSLite ones, i would recommend the M3DSReal or the CycloDS Evolution

R4s were good in its days but they are not the best carts thats available. They still run Games, roms, and homebrew but you need to watch out for clones.
