NES-Hacks: Your home for Wii and DS Hacking!

Okay
So you like those custom channels and what not huh?
Well what happens when you find a wad that hates your console?
You get a really nice paper weight


I am going to help you out some
For I have been here myself
and would like to help out some noobs\unsure ppl

                                                                      Step 1

lets start with homebrew channel
This is key to you

First acquire a copy of Zelda Twilight Princess
and the appropriate twilight hack

there are three version

version 1(for 3.2 and lower) Is the 01 save in the next package of Tp Below

version 2(3.3 only)can be found here

version 3(3.4 only)can be found here


After installing it
you will need to make a a folder named
Apps in the root of your SD card

There is where you will need to put
you files to be used with HBC


                                                                       Step 2

A list of files you need now are as follows

AnyRegion Changer 1.1B Mod3 (Here) For Korean,Chinese users only(side Notes at bottom)

1.Anyregion changer (Here) For Pal,USA,JAP

2.Starfall 0.5 (Here)

3.(3.3) Safe updater(optional) (Here)

4.Miichannel updater(optional) (Here)

okay
So now we
will start with
Anyregion changer

This will allow you to install
system menu 3.2

Make sure you choose
the correct region for you

if your in us\can. change to 3.2U(set shop channel to 49)
if your in a Euro country change to 3.2E(set shop channel to 101?)
and if you in japan well you get 3.2J(set shop channel to 1)

not to hard
its all very straight forward
(I will have pics up later for you)

after you are in the right 3.2 firm for you

Lets move onto STARFALL 0.5
This is your best friend

After it starts up
press B and 1 buttons together
it will load to this screen(pic coming soon)

This will be you hacks to install

I use all but the health warning screen removal and
BGM removal


here are the options you get when loaded to hack screen

Replace health warning screen with black menu
Region Free GC games with video patch
Region free Wii games
Region Free Channels
No Main menu BGM(music)
Start rescue menu when Y is held on first gc controller
Remove rescue menu diagnostics check(important to install incase of banner brick)lets you run Zelda tp from rescue menu
Skip disc update check

I would recommend installing all hacks other than
Replace health warning screen with black menu
and
No Main menu BGM(music)

Now that you have starfall installed

ALWAYS
keep the tp hack save on your wii
say you got a banner brick
you can use wad manager to remove the offending wad
or say you got another type of banner brick
and removing that wad didnt help
you can always install sys menu v289prod.wad
to remedy this problem

That wad mentioned you will have to find own your own
dont ask here

and you will also have to install
Starfall hacks again as well
