Ok let me post my pc specs..
32mb ATI Radeon 7000 series graphics card (Like 7 years old!)
256mb of ram.
2.2ghz AMD Athlon 2600+ Processor
2.1 sound card (does the job)
100mbps Ethernet card which connects to a 1-54mbps router, I have a 2.1mb broadband line btw.
Right the problems I'm having is Slow use of VNC, I have a hacked PSP and Ds and I use VNC, I've seen people on youtube running vnc at full speed but It lags for me and doesnt work properly on the ds hence my cpu usage goes to 95%+
Idk if i should buy a new computer, but what do you recommend to make it faster? I dont think its the network speed, I think its something around the processor/ram/video card area.. I run windows xp sp1 at 32bit.
so what do you recomend?

For starters I'd upgrade my services pack 256mb of ram is really near the minimum you'd be worth considering atleast 512mb but if I were you I would consider a new pc I build cheap ones for my mates that got 2gb ram intergrated video sound and network with 160gig hdd amd 5000+ cpu that costs about $350AU-$400AU just for the box i'd assume in pounds it be near the 200 mark If you got the cash it would be good to look at something new.
