A new version of Gecko Region Free has been served by Nuke, and version 1.5 is the first release targeted at Team Twiizer’s Wii Homebrew Channel, says the homebrew developer. But with change comes a little hiccup on Gecko Region Free’s part, and you might find some games not loading as they would have before.

For those who had some problems with duplicate channels that pop up in the Wii menu, here’s the solution that you’ve been waiting for (in case you haven’t come across the first release of this application). Homebrew developer waninkoko just updated the ever-useful Wii Duplicated Channel Remover, and this specific version doesn’t make use of the Trucha exploit. PLEASE USE YOUR OWN SPECIFIC REGION
