Sand Traps

August 28th, 2009

Posted by ansel

Sand Traps is an original puzzle / motion game that you should lead the sand without losing any of them. It is attractive for me to work on the balance on the wiimote and you may achieve the goal later on…

but then , you may try to create your own level using GIMP:

  • For the BMP graphics file it is important that it is saved in grayscale format, and that you only use the colors black, white and the three shades of gray that are used in the tutorial levels. If you use any other colors the game will exit. The size must be 320 * 320 pixels. Use GIMP to save the image if you experience problems.
  • For the text files it is important that you at least have a line break where the comments are. You don’t have to keep the comments themselves, but there must at least still be the line break where the comments where.
  • The levels must have consecutive numbers and the first level must have number 1.

Just put the bmp images into /apps/sandtraps/levels/tutorials and you cannot access the bmp images (stages) if you don’t followt the instruction above

Achtung Wii Kurve v.1.1a

August 23rd, 2009

Posted by ansel

Achtung Wii Kurve is a clone of the computer game Achtung Die Kurve and you need to avoid touching the wall or another curve during the game play.

Fixed a bug that made curves die when travelling in certain directions (approximately 75 % of the directions)

Though the author the bug above , the curve may merely pass through another curve in certain direction. Profetylen may later fix it :)

Chunk Munch v0.6

August 22nd, 2009

Posted by ansel

Supposed that you are still working in office and you need to have a break during your lunch. Chunk Munch would help as the playing method is similar to the PDA software jawbreaker , but now  ,  you may enjoy similar game using wii

New Logo! Thnx Faine!
added a ‘munch’ sound to the WingedVayla skin
Loading screen now shows after some basics have been initialized, instead of waiting for EVERYTHING.
Added (bad) music and sound support (Expect samples to be either played too fast or too slow (Currently using 22050 Hz, samples of this speed should work fine))
Supports all types SDL_Mixer supports, if it doesn’t read the file, try removing the extension.
Moved ‘quit’ and ‘back’ buttons to lower left
To exit the game press any key (except a or b), this prevents the game from closing the screen when you are frantically clicking the screen (a.k.a. monkey proof bugfix)
Added an option to no longer wait for movement (animation) to stop, enabling fast clicking mode.
Fixed: Chrash when: No skin name was defined in XML. Occurs when saved with default skin, or loading a old XML file.
Repositioned the menu’s a bit.
Fixed: Miscalculation of the field size, preventing the game from checking all rows correctly for the end conditions.
Removed southpark skin from the install package, still need to create a webpage to add all the future skins.

EZ team and Acekard team demonstrated the firmware that can load flashcarts in NDSi in system software v.1.4 , and released the acutal firmware today

EZ has just made a note for the users using EZ flashcarts

This is not the first EZ5i update but it is potentially one of the more important. It allows the EZ5i to work under a DSi using the 1.4 firmware but doing so presently requires that the cart use a proper icon and text from a game. Updating is as simple as running the ez5firmwreUP_V12.nds from the root of the EZ5i, naturally this requires something that works with the DSi like a DS, DS lite or DSi with firmware lower than 1.4, the whole procedure takes about 30 seconds although we do suggest that you charge your device and preferably power it from the wall as well. A check was also added so you can no longer downgrade to an earlier firmware and brick your EZ5i (it should just hang if you try). This is just the internal loader so you can continue using any kernel that works with the EZ5i.

Acutally two companies have been working so hard for the new firmware and we enjoy the results of having a new firmware today:)

Expected that Red squarrel would update the Anytitle Deleter mod with the database.txt (the previous version was a bit messy). Today , Anytitle deleter v.6 has added the following feature:

-Added a function to select with which IOS to start the program. So if you get an error at program startup procedure just restart the program choosing another IOS (with flash access).
