Hell Hibou has released a new version of Wii Homebrew Launcher, heres the release details

The Wii version 0.4 of Homebrew Launcher is available. This version allows you to use the buttons on the wiimote, however, to avoid having to go to the GC mannette the wiimote (because all the homebrew do not use wiimote) it is still possible to use the lever GC .

Unfortunately, in order to implement the wiimote, it took me delete function to remove the SD card when one is in my homebrew. If you remove the card, you must restart the Homebrew.

You have two USB Ports on the back of your Wii, but how many people get much use out of them? Well, you might find MUCH more use out of them pretty soon. According to developers. there is already an application that reads and lists all the files on a Mass Storage drive, whether it be an MP3 Player (no iPods), an External HardDrive, or a USB Key.

Don’t go fetching your SD Cards yet though. The development is still very buggy. So much so that a release isn’t warranted at this time. However, we do have a source code to look at. You can be guranteed we’ll have any news of a release.

Definitely not a hack of any kind, just odd and interesting…

From Reghardware:

“If you’re not a fan of creepy crawlies then you may want to turn your Wii off. The latest theory crawling through the gaming world is that the console actively attracts cockroaches.

The theory can be traced back to Japanese-language gaming website Barks, which claimed that the Wii gives off a cockroach-friendly frequency that attracts the pests better than four-week-old pizza.

Cockroaches aren’t known for their superior hearing abilities, mainly because they don’t have any eardrums. However, according to one online report, the little pests respond to air movements and ground vibrations, detected by hairs on the body.”
