Ah the days of sitting back on your N64, playing the good ol games. Remember how good you thought the graphics were? Remember the next gen of consoles? Well, now you can relive some of those memories with the latest game to be released for Wii!
As a first person shooter, your job is to help the government stop a mysterious new enemy when all heck breaks loose! Bonus for the Wii: You can use the Wiimote pointer to aim!
Instructions should be simple enough, but a readme is included. Drop the two folders (apps/ID1) into the root of your SD card and launch via the method of your choice.

emu_kidid has updated the port for Visual Boy Advance which nows features Front SD loading. Great Job emu_kidid
I decided that I would do a few little minor additions to this emulator before I dropped it totally from my list and so here’s the results.
Wii Port
- Wiimote / Classic Controller / Gamecube Pad support
- Front-SD ROM Loading
- Front-SD SRAM Saving and Loading
- MEM2 ROM Storage for fast access
- In-game Menu with ability to exit to loader (Home button)
- Auto frame skip for those core heavy games
GC Port
- SDGecko ROM Loading
- SDGecko SRAM Saving and Loading
- In-game Menu with ability to exit to loader (X+Y)
- Auto frame skip to give you the illusion of full FPS
Please note, there’s not much of a GUI if anything. The only way you can load another ROM is to exit to the loader through the in-game menu or simply reload the DOL.
Please note, this is coded in PAL60, if you change it you will probably mess up the timing and things will go horribly wrong due to frame-skip relying on this.
Roms must be placed in /VBA/ROMS/ and cannot be compressed.
Saves will be placed in /VBA/SAVES/ and will automatically be loaded if they exist.
The GBA BIOS file is to be placed in /VBA/BIOS/BIOS.GBA.
If you want to use a Wiimote/Classic Controller, turn it on during the ROM selection menu for it to be detected.
Full source code is included. You will need to wait until the current libOGC CVS is updated to devkitpro r15 and actually working. I compiled using a modified devkitPro r14 and libogc from CVS. Use the pre-compiled GBA.o (done with level2 optimizations) if you wish to compile this software again. (GBA.d will need to be modified) This is a messy build process but it’s the only way to get it working for now.
Wii/GC ports by: emu_kidid,
Original Gamecube port: softdev.
VBA by Forgotten (http://vba.ngemu.com/)
libOGC/devKitPro by shagkur/Wintermute.

Pen Drives are possible!! Sven has put it on his blog letting us know the details.
I’ve (finally) been able to create a patch for libogc today which just got accepted and adds my usb-storage code to it – just wait for the next release or get the CVS version if you know what you are doing. Thanks again to shagkur for some miscellaneous fixes and hints to my code.
Since my last posts even more devices are working now and only a few ones are not working which I’m unable to fix because the owners either didn’t give me a usb log or because that device is just stupid and doesn’t confirm to the usb storage protocol in a *really* bad way. If you want these devices to work get me a full usb transfer log while you’re connecting your device to you computer. Just reporting that device $whatever is not working with the output of my old test applications will not help me to fix this drive, sorry.
However, I’ll first talk in this post about why someone screwed up the IOS USB driver and what evil hack fixes this and then about how to use my usb-storage code.

Say hello to the brand new Wasabi!
No revolution here, but while other teams were busy trying to duplicate our 9 wire solution, we spent countless hours testing and improving the electrical design of our chip. This is to avoid the need of installation tweaks with rare “noisy” drives… and we’re very proud of the result! We can safely say that we have created the most robust 9 wires chip on the market. Of course this new revision is 100% upgrade, pinout and feature compatible with the previous one.
The only other bonus is that it is fully compatible with the new D2C2 drive chipset (a.k.a. “Unmoddable D2C”, md5sum a60cd3d6a4949db26add1580ba1be526) that is common in Korea and started to appear in other countries in May 2008. That means that even if you bought your Wii in May 2008 or later on, you know for sure that our chip will be compatible with it. And we even added some D2C/D2C2 auto-detection mechanism to make installer’s life easier.
Soon to be released, stay tuned!
