Westy92 has come out with Metronome v1.0, perhaps the first metronome application made for the Wii.
Much like a regular metronome, the app essentially does the same function of maintaining a consistent tempo which a person can follow while playing an instrument. Metronome v1.0’s tempo can be adjusted using the Wii remote, from a minimum tempo of 30 to a maximum of 250.
Feel free to check out the source link below for an explanation of how to operate this Wii Metronome. Those of you who’ve always wanted one but couldn’t find it can now enjoy it courtesy of the Wii.

Hone your Wii shooting skills with Arikado’s Wii Shooting Gallery. This homebrew program is a simple target shooting game, so it’s best if you have the Wii Zapper accessory.
The game is good to pass the time, and exercise your hand-eye coordination and reflexes as well. Aim well. Third time’s the charm. That is, if you miss three times, you are returned to the menu and it’s game over. The current version has six modes that you can play:
Wiibrew developer Beardface has released the latest version of WiiPhysics, a physics playground for the Wii. Basically it lets you doodle things on screen and the program subjects your doodles to the laws of physics.
This is one of the more interesting, not to mention fun, homebrew I’ve seen for the Wii. Anyway, you don’t have to take my word for it, you can watch a video of the Wiibrew in action down below. Download link’s right after that. First, here’s what’s new in this version:
2008.08.27 - v2.1.0
Added fully scrollable world with ground
up, down, left, right to pan (Or just move the pointer to the edge of the screen)
Added minimap for scrolling around world
Added ability to fix camera to an object for easy following around world
Hit 1 on any object to attach camera (works best on circles and squares)
(To detach, just hit 1 anywhere on the screen)
Added sky, with dynamic clouds
(You now know when you are in freeze b/c the clouds stop moving)
Fixed jumping of rectangles on draw
Lots of bug fixes
2008.08.25 - v2.0.0
Added pen joint for moving dynamic objects
You can now “Throw” objects
Added distinction between objects that are frozen and mobile to make it obvious to the user whats frozen
Fixed some bugs (Including crash from drawing small boxes)
Keep objects from jumping when you select them
Improved intro screen
increased pen draw size
started on framework for zoomable worlds
Scoring right now is, for the most part, useless. However, it is there, albeit mostly incomplete. It will also keep the time you have played the game for.
* Multiple Gametypes
Origional Solitaire, Vegas Solitaire, and Free Play are selectable game types. See descriptions above.
* Choosing Dealing Number
You can choose the number of cards that will be dealt out at one time from the Stock now. You may choose either 1 card or 3 card.
* Winning Screen
When you win, a little animation appears and you are called a Winner.
* Deck Dealing Animation
The Stock now “shuffles” before it deals each card out like you would a real solitaire game.
* ROUGH Options
When you start up Wii Solitaire, if you have an SD card, you are asked if you would like to create an options file. Within this options file there are currently six options to choose from. Only three of the options have been completed and may be edited by hand: Deck Dealing Animation, Mouseover Rumble, and 16:9 Video Stretching. 0 = Off, 1 = On. The .ini is located in the same folder as the boot.elf file.
* Playing Tips
When you first use Wii Solitaire and if you created a new settings file you will be greeted with Playing Tips on your first game. These explain the essentials of Solitaire and provide a few tips to successfully complete a game.
WiiShip is a BattleShips clone for the Wii! . Hours of fun to be had!
