Nightstalker, BFGR, Calantra and DDF, Calantra, KiKe, Creffca (AKA Avicr) and others over on GBAtemp have developed an injector GUI to inject roms into WAD files.
Currently Supported:
SNES
N64
NES
GENESIS
TURBO GFX 16
HOMEBREW
Instructions: Have everything in the same folder. After clicking start let the program do it’s thing and don’t use your mouse or keyboard.
Requirements:
-common-key.bin in the same folder.
-VB runtime files, if you don’t have them already: http://www.singlechips.com/download/vbrun60sp6.exe
-.net runtime files, if you don’t have them already: http://faux.uwcs.co.uk/vcredist/vcredist_x86.exe

what teh hell does it do?
It basically makes it so you can play any rom using VC. That’s clear enough.

This is friggin awesome. When you inject the rom, does it show the real title of the rom in the wii menu? Or does it say the name of the VC title?
the tool will rename the rom to what you want it to be. Only the image banner will remain from what the original is
how exactly do u get it up an running i get a message saying to rename folder…..anybody else having a problem with this any help would be appreciated
make sure no space is on the wad’s name
I made it detect problems with the folder and output a message for a reason!
Just rename the folder like I had it say. Duh
i can not get by the “waiting for final injection wad” what does this mean? i have a z64 file and the wad file in the program.
you need a valid common-key.bin (which you cannot ask for) in the same folder for it to run
i get a message saying “get rid of the .’s in the folder name can not continue until folder name is changed” when i extracted the program i got all these files but no folders do i have to create some folders? i was also able to find the common-key.bin and put in the folder the files were extracted to…any help would be appreciated or does anyone have a step by step guide for noobys
yo i think you have to put it in wad folder and add in your program file folder it should be under your c drive. it work for me. just need to fine the common-key.bin hope that helps you.
so i dont need my wii hacked? or what
well u dont need a mod chip to do this. u just have to use the twilight hack, the wad installer and the wad itself in the sd and should install.
p.s put wad in a folder called “wad”

What original wads are compatible to be injected, I was gunna inject majora’s mask and use ocarina of time?
Sin and Punishment is commonly used for N64 injections, but the problem is, N64 injection only works with a handful of games, Majoras mask is NOT one of them
you would use sin and punishment to inject roms with control schemes like super smash brothers. zelda ocarina of time for majoras mask, but the problem is the expansion pack. nintendo hasnt even released a game where the expansion pack is optional (eg Road Rash) let alone one where the 4 mb of ram are required (eg majoras mask)

I’m getting the same error. It says the directory name, file name, or volume syntax is invalid or something. How do I fix it?
when i injected my rom and installed it and tryed to play it, it froze it keeps on doing that how do i fix it, it freezes at the black screen that says “need classic controller” oh and to get the common-key download it off a torrent it usually comes with wads and stuff

guys i realy need to know how to get common-key.bin
Mine says that input cannot have dashes or spaces but the file has a dash what do i do. When i rename it without a slash it says that it needs Common-key.bin ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!
i injected spyhunter.nes in to OperationWolf.wad, it loads on to the channel, but locks up on a black screen when i try to play the game,

Everything works untill it trys to read the rom data thats when it stops working what am i doing wrong?

I try to inject the Resident evil 2 game in the Majoras Mask wad, but i get the error: Rom file too large to inject to the selected entry, exiting!!
Any suggestion about how to make that wad bigger?

I have no spaces in the wads or the n64s name
There all in the same folder

i injected a ki gold in to a majoras mask n it froze on me i been
trying everything but it does the same thing i try to put ki gold in to a
sin n punishment n it froze on on me where it says classic controler need
but the one thet i injected to majoras mask it froze at the n64 screen

i loaded the program but now i cant get the software to find them, where do i need to put them to have them register in the program?
well a better thing to say is that i have the WAD loaded and have the bin that i downloaded from Google, but when i try to load the folder with all of that in it, it doesnt load, so if i take it out of the folder, it will load the WAD file but it wont load the ROM. Could u explain how to fix it?

Listen. Games that require an expansion pack is not gonna work. I think that Zelda requires one so no. You can’t fit a rom that’s larger than the WAD obviously, so stop trying games that are bigger than the WAD.
Here how about this i am assuming everyone trying to make a WAD for Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask have a Wad Manager on there Home brew Channel or something, right? Well just torrent the game then put it to a sd card or usb drive and install it with the wad manager. That’s what i did and it works perfect. and it takes less then 10 minutes to install it onto your wii

I am trying to inject earthbound into a donkey kong country 2 wad but I get an error that says it can’t find the wad and I have everything in the same folder. Any suggestions and WTF is wrong with auto injectuwad.
